Google AdSense Publishers Can Apply for Ad-Supported YouTube Videos

Adsense Publishers can now apply for Ad-Supported YouTube Videos which earns revenue from companion ads, which shows the video window like banner ads and text overlay ads on the web page.

On Monday 8 October,Google said it has introduced ad-supported YouTube videos and are available to publishers for AdSense network.

Adsense publishers can now enjoy earnings from both video unit ads as well as text unit ads which shows automated ads related to the content of the website.The video units on publisher's site will be updated periodically.

Google was experimenting video units for AdSense since last year. It has run pilot programs offering ad-supported content from MTV Networks, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group to a limited group of online publishers.

Now any English-language AdSense publisher in the U.S. can sign on to AdSense account and generate HTML code that can be embedded into web page and publish video ad units.
